Shortly after Kellen Moore announced his retirement from the NFL a much bigger announcement has surfaced.  He's going to be the new QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys.

Moore still holds the all-time wins record in college football with 50 while he was at Boise State.  He entered the draft for the NFL in 2012 and was not drafted but was picked up by the Detroit Lions as a free agent.  He was eventually traded to the Dallas Cowboys where he did start and play three games in 2015.  In his second game Moore threw for 435 passing yards which is the 6th most in a single game for the Dallas Cowboys franchise.

According to KTVB Moore's name has surfaced immediately after retirement as the new quarterback coach for the Dallas Cowboys.  After years of frustration not being able to consistently play, maybe this is Moore's calling.

Moore knows the game, he's intelligent, and he's experienced more than most when it comes to football.  All of us here in BSU land congratulate Kellen Moore.  We're excited to see you take on this new chapter in your life.

The following video shows that not everyone is as excited as we all are about Moore becoming the new QB coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
