Capitol Christmas Tree on Display in Boise

Check out the 80' tree before it head to Washington D.C.

The tree -which was harvested in McCall last week- made a stop at Cabela's in Boise yesterday, but that's not its last stop before heading to D.C.

If you want to check it out, the tree will be on display at the Idaho Statehouse from 11a-1p today. Governor Otter, and the congressional delegation will be at the send-off too. Plus, you can enjoy music, food trucks, and 5th-grader, Isabella Gerard -who will be lighting the tree in D.C.- will be there to read a poem.
