Capitol, White House on Lockdown – Shooter in Custody

The U.S. Capitol under lock down due to gunfire at Visitor's Center.

One Capitol officer was shot (but not seriously injured) this afternoon in Washington D.C. This caused the Capitol building and the White House to go on an immediate lockdown.

The suspected shooter is in custody and there are no reports of other injuries.
