Changes to Idaho License Test

A new mandatory question on bicycle safety will be added to the Idaho license test.

Remember that little boy of Boise, Max Wyatt? He was hit while on his bike and dragged by a mini van on the street. He was nearly killed, but after several surgeries, he is back home and recovering.

Because of that incident, a measure was proposed to add a mandatory bicycle safety question to Idaho driver's license tests. Supporters of the measure say they want drivers to study road rules related to bicycle safety more closely and cut down on the number of collisions.
