After Performing In Nampa, This Country Star Gets Death Threats Over Firing Satanic Opening Act.

Texas country artist Charley Crockett and his Age Of The Ram Tour recently played The Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater on July 12th. But, just days prior to that performance he released his fully self-funded album Clovis and fired his opening act Twin Temple.

Following the move, Crockett responded to his critics by posting: "F**k Trump, F**k Epstein. But hail satan? Not me Jack.

Twin Temple is an American rock duo formed by married couple Alexandra and Zachary James. They are practicing Satanists and describe their music as satanic doo-whop. Citing influences like Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly. And yes, their stage set includes satanic imagery.

To say Charley Crockett is outspoken and a bit eccentric would be an understatement, but, his talent is undeniable. A gifted and prolific singer and songwriter, and actor, He wades into controversary like a surfer does the ocean. Looking to catch that wave and ride the tube of backlash and fall out. Good or bad, Charley Crockett hangs 10.

But, his does it with genuine authenticity instead of for the clicks.

Claiming on X  "I am not on the left. I am not on the right. I am on the road at that's a hard way to go...Don't believe in any kind of spiritual power? I'm sorry to hear that. God is the fabric that ties all life together. No need to even define or institutionalize it."

Twin Temple has been relatively quiet about the matter, but, their fans and several stars have come out to support them. Even Jack White offered them an opening slot for one of his shows following their firing.

An outlier, and proud of it, Charley Crockett has made a career out of doing things his way. Recently posting he refuses to apologize for removing the satanic act and refuses to conform. Doubling down with scrubbing virtually all of his social media accounts after being flooded with death threats according to Country Cast.

Charley has had his share of public beefs.

Crockett recently made a statement as reported by Taste Of Country: "You know what's really crazy? For all the drama I get into with [Morgan] Wallen and Beyoncé' and [Gavin] Adcock, I've never had so much violence threatened against me."

I, for one, have gained a serious amount of respect for Charley Crockett and his willingness and confidence to stand up for what he believes in no matter what the cost.

That is a rare thing indeed.
