Purple, Maroon, Red, Green?!!? Here's where we currently stand.

I never thought I'd say this, but luckily we have dropped back down into Red Air Quality conditions.

What does this mean? Our Treasure Valley air is still unhealthy, but at least we are not in the "very unhealthy" range or the "hazardous" maroon range.

According to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality we are currently at 175. Anything above 150 usually means sports and recess are cancelled and you should limit your time outdoors, especially if you do have respiratory issues, are a child, or elderly. You can check the current level anytime by checking AirNow.

According to KTVB we are expected to be in the "unhealthy" range for the next 24 to 48 hours.
