Dogs Die In Idaho Hot Springs

This makes me so sad!!

Paden McCormick was hiking with his wife, Katie, and their two dogs, Dexter and Dahlie, on their way to Panther Creek Hot Springs (AKA Big Creek Hot Spring).

When they arrived, the dogs jumped in and were burned, Paden jumped in to save them and suffered 3rd degree burns on over 50% of his body. He was transported by air to a hospital in Seattle.

Sadly, the pups didn't make it.

The Salmon-Challis National Forest has issued a warning to all visitors, the springs could be near or above boiling!
