The devastating floods in Louisiana have left thousands of dogs homeless.  Some of those dogs have just been flown into Boise in hopes of finding a new home.

The non-profit group called Dog Is My Co-Pilot is working closely with the Idaho Humane Society helping over 20 dogs get back on their feet after the tragic events in Louisiana.  The shelters in Louisiana have been over run by animals since the flooding and a lot of people have had to surrender their animals because they've lost everything in the flood.

A few of the dogs will be transferred to Northern Idaho but most will stay in the Humane Society right here in Boise.  They should all be available for adoption early next week.  You can see video of the dogs available for adoption on their website HERE.
