Dresstraveganza Helps Local Teens Attend Prom For FREE

Prom season is coming! Unfortunately some kids in the Treasure Valley can't afford to go, that's where Dresstravaganza comes in.

Since 2009, Dresstravaganza has collected formal gowns to provide young ladies around the valley with an amazing prom experience. Every year they display all of the gowns and let the ladies pick their dress, but that's not all.

All the ladies also receive a full spa day makeover including hair and makeup from Paul Mitchell the School - Boise.

This year, Dresstravaganza teamed up with Gem Text Recycling to make it even easier to donate. If you have some formal dresses you'd like to contribute:

• Bag the dresses
• Label the bag "PROM"
• Drop-off bags at any GEMTEXT Recycling bins throughout the Treasure Valley. FOR A FULL LIST OF BINS....CLICK HERE.

The dresses will then be mended, cleaned, and sorted; then they'll be on display at Dresstravaganza EVERY Saturday in April (10a-2p) at the Boise Outlets (6876 S. Eisenman Rd).
