Backups, long lines, and accidents already occurring as out of towners are showing up for the Great Total Eclipse.

We're not seeing much of this here in Idaho yet but it's coming.  Our neighbors in Oregon are already experiencing a lot of issues.  U.S. Highway 26 west of Prineville is a small town of about 6,000 people that are expecting at the very least a good 30,000 people to show up and they're already coming.  They're very narrow one lane roads are already backed up with all sorts of issues.

Gas Stations in Bend and Prineville have already run out of fuel even though they were fully stocked and thought to be ready for the onslaught of people coming for the eclipse.

Madras, Oregon is a small town that has about 6,000 people and they'll be getting at least 100,000 more because this is one of the best spots in the nation to see the eclipse.  Traffic is picking up there but not back ups yet.

Here in Idaho we're expecting the worst and hoping for the best.  We'll keep you posted on areas that will be experiencing high volumes of people for the eclipse.
