Father Sexting While Son Is Dying In Hot Car

This man was texting sexual messages back and forth with a teenage girl while his toddler son was dying in the backseat of his car.

I'm a father of five and I grew up in a large family as well.  I have five sisters and one brother.  To me... family is everything.  And kids are even more!  We've all had our moments of neglect, accidents, mistakes, but this one is difficult to see.

The actions of Justin Ross Harris led to the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper.  The 35-year-old man says he's a great father, but the police are only interested in how "great of a father" he was at one particular moment.  The moment he decided to send explicit photos to a 16-year-old girl while his son gasped for life in the back seat for seven hours.

Prosecutors are saying Harris killed his son intentionally because he wanted to escape the pressures and responsibilities of being a father and a husband.  Harris left his son in the hot car while he went in to work.  His defense is saying this was a tragic accident where Harris forgot to drop his son off at daycare and went straight to work.

What and where the truth lies is a battle these people will fight through in court.  Poor, little Cooper will no longer grace this earth.  He's with God now.  Rest In Peace Cooper!
