‘Glowtato’ Will Ring in the New Year

There's a new potato in town...or at least they hope so.

About half of the donations needed to build a new giant potato for Boise New Year's Eve festivities has been raised by sponsors and donors. But Idaho Potato Drop organizers are still looking for donations from the public to make their new potato dreams a reality.

According to KTVB, the 'Glowtato' will be made of fiber glass, filled with LED lights, and weigh less than last year's foam model.
