Help Carly & Sari With Their Black Thumb?

See those pretty flowers in the picture? Those are mine. It's tragic but they will soon die. Help? 

I love spring, the new growth and the warmth of the sunshine is amazing.  After a gray winter I cannot wait to get some color in my yard so I buy flowers, then they die. This is a yearly event for me,  I tell myself every year that this is the year my flowers will live and I will be triumphant! They don’t.  As I admitted my black thumb, Carly mentioned she has the same problem! I’m not alone? Other flower murderers are out there? Don’t get me wrong, I understand Carly’s pain but I did feel better when she told me I was in good company and she too feels she is a hopeless case.

When I buy flowers I look for “full sun” or “shade” depending on where they’re going to live their short little lives. I hear marigolds are a nearly destructible flower, no I kill those too. Water globes, do those work? I over-water, under-water, I feel they have just the right amount of water and... they... still... die.

Tips? It's really hard when you feel like you kill everything. My dogs are alive though *pats back*

If anything… maybe we have created a flower killers support group?
