I-84 Lane Restriction Canceled!

If you left a little earlier to beat the craziness on I-84, you probably got a nice little surprise!

The plans to reduce traffic to two lanes in each direction until early November on I-84 (between Eagle and 10 mile interchanges) was set to start this morning (9/16), but the Idaho Transportation Department decided late Tuesday to cancel those plans.

ITD will maintain all three lanes in both direction open by working on the westbound lanes/shoulder first, then move on to the eastbound project. PHEW!!!!

The original plan was definitely going to cause some headaches, at least this way, the work will get done, the lanes will stay open during daytime hours, and everyone is happy!! Well, not as happy as when it's all done in early December!!
