Idaho Man Charged in Puppy’s Death

Matthew M. Muer has been charged with animal cruelty.

Ketchum police say Muer dragged his English bulldog puppy with a leash looped around his neck and cinched tight.

The man was intoxicated and was unaware that the puppy was not walking on its own. A police officer saw the puppy and took it to a veterinarian - where it later died.

Muer was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals — carry in a cruel manner.
