Idaho Snake Eats Electric Blanket!!

A 12 foot Burmese Python from Ketchum has swallowed a queen sized electrical blanket with the electrical cord and control box!!

The snakes owner says the blanket must have gotten tangled must have become tangled up in the snakes rabbit dinner! It was kept in the cage to provide warmth for the snake.

According to NBC news, The 60 lb snake ended up having to go through a two hour surgery but the Dr. who operated said the snakes prognosis is great.

Snake specialists say it probably took Houdini the snake 6 hours to swallow the blanket and he probably would have died if the surgery had not been performed.
