Idaho’s $2 Million Lottery Winner Steps Forward
Michael Tran did what he's done for the past 18 years. Well, at least he played the same numbers he's played for almost two decades now. According to the Idaho Lottery, Tran stepped into the WinCo on Fairview Avenue in Boise and played the exact same numbers he always plays. When he scanned his ticket a couple days later, he was prompted to call the Idaho Lottery. Tran then went back to look at which numbers hit and saw he nailed all five numbers and then missed the Powerball number. Some people think that if you miss the Powerball number, you lose. Oh no, no, no. Tran's ticket is worth more than $2 million. WinCo receives $25,000 just for selling the winning ticket.
Tran hasn't said what those numbers mean to him or why he's been using them for so long. It's just become part of his routine. He plays the numbers, walks off and expects it'll lose like usual. This time, the usual became the unusual and Tran has become instantly rich. Congratulations Michael Tran. Now take us all out for lunch :)
