Manhunt Underway Following Afternoon Bank Robbery in Boise

A search is underway in the Treasure Valley following a robbery at a bank in Boise in the middle of the afternoon.

We're beyond lucky to live in an area where crime rates are low and we look out for one another. Boise is, overall, a very safe metro. Sometimes, however, one person will 'ruin' the vibe for all of us.

That's exactly what is taking place today, as a suspect walked into a bank near Vista and Overland. The individual walked off with cash from the bank, too. He was able to get away, for now, on foot.

A statement from the Boise Police Department was kept short on social media as the investigation was initially launched:

Boise Police are asking for your help keeping an eye out following a bank robbery this afternoon at Vista and Overland. The suspect is seen in these photos. No injuries were reported, and the suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
