Police Say No Evidence Found Tying Idaho Suspect to Second Murder
The state, nation, and globe are all watching closely as Bryan Kohberger has significantly resurfaced in the news surrounding his arraignment.
The missing person case from May of 2022 would have been months before the crimes in Moscow occurred, which is he currently being held in custody as the suspect of. We have heard for months now that police were allegedly looking into other crimes to see if there could be any ties to Kohberger but did not know if there was actual truth to that.
Now, hours after these rumors quickly blew up--the Chief of Police is has spoken up through a press release.
According to the Chief of Police, Jennifer Lyon:
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department has NO evidence that Dana Smither's disappearance is in any way tied to Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger
That statement alone seems to clear up any doubt.
Kohberger is set to appear in court in October for trial in the four Idaho murders. We expect more developments soon and will continue to keep you updated.
