Time to Splash: Roaring Springs Announces 2026 Opening Weekend

The 'countdown to opening day' is on, according to Roaring Springs Waterpark on all of its social media platforms this week.

Does that feel too soon? Time flies and yes, we agree. But believe it or not, 'it's gonna be May' and with warmer temperatures comes the Treasure Valley's TOP summer attraction: Roaring Springs.

With May right around the corner and the inevitable increase in temperature, it's time to make plans to splash, slide, dance, and chill at Idaho's premiere water attraction.

As shared by Roaring Springs on social media this week, Saturday, May 9th, will be the grand opening date at the park.

Perhaps the most exciting news of it all (just in case that feels a little too early for you)... the forecast is predicting 82 degrees and SUNNY.

Yes, it's really going to be a perfect day to dive in.

Speaking of 'diving in', the water park has also announced the return of two very popular 'dive in' features.

You may recall last summer, the waterpark added a massive screen and sound system to the wave pool--back for a second year will be:

• Dive in DJ Nights: a live DJ take over at the wave pool featuring themed nights, games, dance parties and huge prizes!
• Dive in Movie Nights: a movie shown on the big screen while you lounge, float, and soak up the sun.
