Man Who Killed Woman Drunk Driving On Eagle Road Now Violating Probation

How can we forget the young 24-year-old Madeline Duskey who was hit and killed by drunk driver Adam Paulson on November 18, 2017, when she was walking across Eagle Road late at night.

The community was outraged, saddened, and wanted justice.  Paulson had a .21 blood alcohol level, more than twice the legal limit.  He was eventually found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.  The prosecution wanted Paulson to serve 15 years in prison.  Instead, he received 15 years of probation.  Yep.  He walked out of that courtroom a free man.  He took the life of this beautiful, young mother and was now sitting at home watching t.v. doing whatever he pleased.

Paulson's probation consisted of wearing an ankle bracket that monitors blood alcohol content.  On February 13th that ankle bracket was tampered with on 19 different occasions.  Authorities believe Paulson was drinking which is a violation of his parole.

KTVB reports that other parole requirements for Paulson are that he must perform 500 hours of community service, wear an alcohol monitor and not be allowed to buy, possess or drink alcohol, and pay child support for Duskey's children until they become adults.  No word yet on what the repercussions are for violating parole.  We'll keep you posted.
