Minico H.S. In Trouble

Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho has been fined $1,500 over students chanting at a basketball game.

The chants singled out a specific person for harassment.  This whole thing isn't as cut and dry as you might think.  A lot of strong feelings on both sides here.

The game went down back on January 28th against Burley High.  Micio students began shouting the name of one of the Burley High player's mother.  The woman, who was a former Burley High administrator was sentenced to prison for sexually abusing two students.

What's left?  A player... a kid... who had nothing to do with anything taking who knows how much heat from every direction because of his association with his mother.  I can't possibly imagine the hell this kid is enduring.  And without thinking, these kids decide it might be funny to keep laying it on thick.  It's an embarrassment to all of us watching something like this go down.
