Minivan in the Payette

The man driving is OK.

A man driving north on highway 55 veered off the road and into the Payette river earlier today.

Luckily he was able to get out of the minivan, and refused medical assistance.

Officials say there were signs the driver overcorrected before the crash. The incident is under investigation.
