How would you like to get a text from Reese Witherspoon saying, "hey wanna write a song for my new movie"?

There is a new movie about to hit theaters starring Reese Witherspoon and Sophia Vergara called "Hot Pursuit" and Miranda Lambert will have a small in it. Well, kinda.

According to countryweekly.com "Reese texted me and told me about the movie and wanted me to write something or sing or both,” Miranda explains. “I got inspired. I love Reese and Sofia. It was a bit of a Thelma & Louise theme and that’s totally up my alley. It is really fun to be part of it. It was the first time I wrote a song specifically for a movie, so it was a different experience for me.”

Miranda co-wrote “Two of a Crime” with pals and frequent co-writers Natalie Hemby and Nicolle Galyon.

According to IMDB, Hot Pursuit tells the story of an inept police officer challenged with protecting the widow of a former drug dealer from unsavory criminals and police officers.

“Two of a Crime” will be on iTunes April 28, but you’ll have to wait a few more days to hear it in the movie. Hot Pursuit doesn’t hit theaters until May 8th".
