Idaho Was Snubbed On Yelp’s List of “11 Most Outrageous Burgers”
When you think of an outrageous burger, what comes to mind?
Is it the size? The ingredients? Does the burger have mac and cheese on it? Are the buns donuts? Whatever it is, there wasn't an Idaho burger joint on Yelp's list of "11 Most Outrageous Burgers."
How did they determine who had the most outrageous burger?
"How we did it: To create Yelp's outrageous burger list, we identified businesses in the burger category using a number of factors, including the total volume of reviews and review ratings, as well as select keywords used in reviews to describe outrageous burgers."
There were a couple of neighboring states that did make the list.
From North Bend, Oregon, Vinny's Smokin' Good Burgers & Sandwiches was 4th on the list. They are known for their Godfather Burger. The Godfather Burger is on the menu for $19 and has two beef patties, pulled pork, sauteed mushrooms, whiskey-barbecued bacon, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions. It's also served with a side of fries. Since the burger is about 8 inches tall, this outrageous burger may require a knife.
Capitol Burger is 6th on their list of "11 Most Outrageous Burgers" and is in the small town of Torrey, Utah. Featured on multiple "Best of" lists, this food truck might have to be a stop the next time you're driving through southern Utah. Their Mac N' Cheeseburger comes with mac and cheese, bacon, coal roasted chiles, and grainy mustard.
