Nampa Schools to Provide Tablets to Students

Six Nampa Schools will provide tablets to students to "digitally upgrade the district." What do you think?

The initiative will cost about $4 million and will be through Nampa's Technology Fund.

Students in elementary schools will be given iPads and high-school students will be given Microsoft-based tablets.

The purpose: to have teachers incorporate the devices in their everyday lessons.
