National Chocolate Ice Cream Day & the Best Shops in Idaho

Ready to find out the best places for chocolate ice cream in Idaho and the Boise area? It's officially National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, and one of the best ways to celebrate is by getting chocolate ice cream at your favorite ice cream shops — or discovering new places you haven't been to yet!

Before we jump in, let's quickly settle the debate over vanilla vs chocolate ice cream — Which one's better?

Well, that's subjective and it depends on people's preferences. However, here's an interesting fact — According to National Today, "chocolate ice cream was actually invented before vanilla." So, if that helps, we at least know the original was chocolate!

Moving on, Reed's Dairy is one of my personal favorite ice cream shops in the area, but I live close to one of their stores in Kuna so I'm a little biased. However, we also recently announced that Stella's Ice Cream will be opening more locations in the area, too!

But it's definitely not just those two, there are a lot of amazing ice cream shops in the area. (Fortunately for us! The more ice cream the better!)
