Few things provide major disappointment like your favorite artist not performing the songs you love. If you go out of your way to buy a ticket or relentlessly phone into your favorite radio show to win tickets, the hope is that you'll see the songs that stir your soul performed onstage live. And while usually artists cater to the fan favorites, it's not unheard of for them to veer off from what made them beloved in hopes of pushing passion projects.

In anticipation of Nelly performing on the Grand Stand Stage at the Western Idaho Fair, we asked listeners to sound off on what songs they were hoping to hear the St. Louis rapper rock onstage. Overwhelmingly fans of the Derrty Entertainment founder were excited to hear iconic "Country Grammar," the single that launched his career. But they were also looking forward to his most recent hit with Florida Georgia Line, "Lil Bit." And of course "Ride Wit Me" didn't go without mention. So did he deliver?

Absolutely! Her performed a medley of hit after hit. And after some audience participation in answering who's been a Nelly fan from day 1, he hit us with "Country Grammar" in its entirety, even switching it up with a bit of a remix toward the latter part of the song. Once he hit the Florida Georgia Line tracks, fans were in an uproar totally loving it.

Capitalizing on the excited crowd, Nelly announced he is releasing new music on August 27th, encouraging fans to support his new endeavor like they have supported him over the last "20,21,22 years."
