The federal and state prosecutors in Idaho say there is not enough evidence to prosecute the two Adam's County sheriff deputies who shot and killed Jack Yanitis on a Highway in front of his home on November 1.

This ends a nine month investigation but the local chatter continues about what exactly happened that dark, winter night when Jack Yantis went to euthanize one of his bulls which was hit by a car earlier in the day.

The accounts of what exactly happened when Yantis walked down his driveway with a loaded shotgun is up for debate.  A lot of conflicting stories which has made it all but impossible for investigators to get to the truth.

One thing we know for sure.  November 1 was a tragic night.  A loss for the entire community.
