Since my aunt is in town visiting from Castle Rock, Colorado, I was looking for somewhere to take her for dinner. Preferably somewhere I haven't been, I decided to look on LoveFood.com. They recently shared a list of "The Best All You Can Eat Restaurants in Every State," which intrigued me. Now, I'm not a fan of all-you-can-eat restaurants just because of the bunch of randos getting close to my Food, which is something that just creeps me out.

Anyway, I looked at their list to see what restaurant they had representing Idaho. After researching the restaurant, they stopped doing their "lunch buffet," from what I found online. The good news is that Madhuban has continued with an à la carte dining experience without losing its cherished reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

People say nothing but great things about Madhuban on Yelp, like Elizabeth: "Food is always the best, my favorite go-to meal. The service is great. The restaurant is very cozy and lovely to be in." It sounds like Shauna will be back soon, " I have been looking for a good Indian restaurant since moving here, and 3.5 years later, I found it! The Food was authentic and delicious. The service was attentive and gracious."

If you haven't discovered Madhuban like me, this is definitely a place that is now on my radar and somewhere I'll be going to very soon. One thing I did find when looking at their Facebook page is that for the last couple of years, they have brought back the buffet, but for a special reason. As a gift from the restaurant to their customers, they have hosted a free lunch buffet on Christmas from 11 am to 2 pm. Will they do it again this year? Make sure you follow their Facebook page for the announcement.
