Sara Evans To Release New Christmas Album

I know, I know, it's the week of Halloween but I'm pretty excited about this one! This lady is probably one of my favorite female country artists. Sara Evans will release her new Holiday album, At Christmas, on Nov. 17.

“It was kind of crazy, but my label just actually said that they wanted me to do a Christmas album this year,” she tells Country Weekly. “This has been one of the busiest years of my career, and so we just kind of threw it together. I was worried about that,but it turned out absolutely beautiful. Mark Bright produced it, and I just chose songs that I’ve always loved. I did my vocals in Birmingham. Literally, it was the quickest recording process that I’ve ever been through.”

Sara recorded some of her holiday favorites, including “Silent Night,” “Winter Wonderland” and “O Come All Ye Faithful”. I thought this was pretty cool not to mention special for her but she also recorded a rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” that includes guest vocals by her two young daughters Olivia and Audrey.

Sara will also perform for the annual CMA Country Christmas special, which will air on Dec. 1 on ABC.
