With the better weather, more and more Idahoans are getting outside and enjoying the limitless things to do in this beautiful Gem state, and I’ve heard in many of my own recent conversations that people are actively looking for some great hiking trails that aren’t difficult and are especially good for dogs.
There are few things that hit the spot like great drinks, great food, great company, great weather and great views all at once. Rooftop Bars and Rooftop Patios are special. Lucky for us the Boise area has some incredible ones and the time to fully enjoy them with ideal weather is upon us.
The entire belt stretches for 25 miles. I have yet to get all of those miles visited but hope to get all sections covered this summer. Here are some of the best stops along the way that I have found so far. These are all within a 5 mile radius of the greenbelt right in downtown.
Eagle Bike Park has a ton more to offer that we didn't even check out. Not only this fun track for kids and BMXers but winding hillside mountain biking trails spreading out right above it. We could see dozens of bikers weaving in and out, up and down exploring and having fun.
Other fun outdoor and warmer places to visit since it's getting so beautiful here again in the Treasure Valley. It goes without saying unless you are new here and don't know about it. You've gotta explore The Greenbelt.
