The Most Popular Christmas Song in Idaho (and 7 Other States)
What’s your favorite Christmas song? And do you think your favorite Christmas song is also the most popular one in Idaho? Let’s find out! 👇
There’s a recent article from FinanceBuzz that shares a list of the most popular Christmas songs in each state in 2022. They said, “To get a better sense of which songs are most and least likely to brighten shoppers’ moods, FinanceBuzz used Google Trends to find the most popular Christmas song in every state. We also surveyed more than 1,200 U.S. adults on the most annoying Christmas songs.
So, what is the most popular Christmas song in Idaho?
Santa Baby
Santa Baby?! Really, Idaho? I would say, “Are you sure it’s the most popular, or is it just the default answer because people can’t remember the names of other Christmas songs when they're asked about them?”
But, no... people were not asked about their favorite Christmas songs, instead, the results were found via Google Trends and looking at what Idahoans were searching the most!
Thankfully, it’s not just us. Here are the 7 other states who also searched this song the most:
• Alabama
• Georgia
• Louisiana
• Minnesota
• Missouri
• Oklahoma
• Rhode Island
FinanceBuzz said, “The 1953 classic “Santa Baby,” sung by the legendary Eartha Kitt, was the most popular song in eight different states. That’s the most states of any song on our list. Three other songs took the top spot in at least five states: “Jingle Bell Rock,” “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad.”
