Think Your Idaho Town Is One Of The Nicest Places In America?
Reader's Digest is having its annual search for the Nicest places In America. They are looking for "places where people are kind, resilient, and work to make their communities better."
According to Reader's Digest, "Nicest Places can be towns, neighborhoods, community centers, businesses, libraries or any place made special by the people who frequent it-and we're looking for our 2023 winner."
Can you think of somewhere specific in Idaho that deserves the title "Nicest Place In America"?
Last year's winner was a community in California called Coulterville. It's a tiny town in Northern California, about 150 miles east of San Francisco. Has there been a situation in which your town has come together to help each other out? That's what stood out about this California town, especially with the fires that they have had there and how everyone did everything they could to help neighbors in need.
If you're considering entering your neighborhood, ensure you have an engaging description, or the editors of Reader's Digest won't even consider it. According to their rules, "you can enter as many places as you want up to five entries per person/per day, and you can also create multiple entries for each place."
In 2018 a restaurant in Knoxville, Tennesee called Falafel House was awarded the title Nicest Place in America. In 2021 the Quality Inn in Kodak, Tennessee, was also named Nicest Place In America. So, if you know of somewhere unique that's going above and beyond in Idaho, you should gather as many people as possible and submit it for Nicest Places In America 2023.
