This Caldwell Teen Has Been Missing For 100 Days Now
A missing Caldwell teen has been gone since November 23, 2022, and his family desperately wants him to come home. His mother says he was last seen in downtown Caldwell with his girlfriend, and no one has seen him since. Unfortunately, because of specific laws in Idaho, Isaiah is not considered "endangered," so the family must rely on the public's help since he's regarded as a runaway.
Isaiah Andaverde is 17 and went to Union High in Nampa. He's 5' 6" and weighs 140 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, and a black t-shirt. The family located his car on Canyon Hill in Caldwell on December 9, 2022, and have only received a couple of reports from people who "think" they may have seen him in Boise, but none of the statements have been confirmed.
After speaking with his mother, she says his girlfriend and her mother don't know where he is either. Isaiah's mom also mentioned that his girlfriend quit his job for him, and she quit her job as well. They both worked at Little Caesar's in Caldwell. In a post on the Treasure Valley Crime & Community Facebook page, she said, "As a parent, I have my suspicions he's being helped due to his limited resources as a minor and the amount of time he's been gone."
Isaiah's mom wants to know that her son is okay and if she could say anything to those who could be providing shelter to her son "think about how you aren't helping him by hiding him, interfering with his ability to finish school this year, work, and do better for himself." In Idaho, who provides shelter to a runaway child is a misdemeanor. If convicted, a person(s) could face up to six months in jail, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.
If you know where Isaiah might be or have seen him, please call the Caldwell Police Department (208) 455-3115 or Canyon County Dispatch (208) 454-7531
