Now that you've stuffed your face with turkey, did your first round of shopping and put up your tree, it's really starting to feel like Christmas in the Treasure Valley. Between all the hustle and bustle, make it a point to set aside an evening to load up the car, grab some hot cocoa and check out some of the impressive Christmas lights homeowners all over the Treasure Valley have put up for 2020!

The Boise Christmas Lights map is back up and running! The project was originally the passion project for William Higginson, a self-proclaimed Christmas light junkie who was frustrated that the Treasure Valley didn't have a central location where people could find the best static and animated home light shows.

So he created one and it's popularity EXPLODED! William recently moved to Texas for a new job opportunity, but left the Boise Christmas Lights Facebook page and Boise Christmas Lights map in the trustworthy hands of Shannon Luthy, a member of the family responsible for the Shannons' Light Show that used to wow families in Meridian!

The family hasn't done their light show since 2017, so Shannon is thrilled to throw her energy into the Christmas Lights Map! The map plots our area's light shows synced to music, static light displays and community tree lightings/events onto a Google Map that you can view HERE. Not only does she tell you which displays are already up and running, she'll even tell you which displays are currently under construction and will be ready soon!

The map got a MAJOR update over the last few days and is continuously updated as Luthy finds out about new displays or people asked to have their homes added to it.
