Residents at the Spiritwood Assisted Living Center in Washington State are recreating iconic movie scenes to benefit a good cause.

The seniors have been using makeup and lights to recreate movie posters long before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The idea to transform the seniors came to Jennifer Angell, the community relations director at Spiritwood at Pine Lake, in 2018. She wanted to create an enjoyable activity for the seniors while also doing some purposeful.

So for two years, they have dressed up the seniors as Hollywood movie stars and taken photos to recreate iconic movie posters. Then Village Concepts, the company that owns the senior home, produces a calendar of the photos. All of the calendars proceeds goes to the Alzheimer's Association.

Check out the photos of the seniors here and if you are up to help, you can purchase their calendar here!
