Tomorrow’s Downtown Boise Traffic Reduced To One Lane

It's never convenient when your main route of getting from Point "A" to Point "B" is under construction and either shuts down or allows you through at a snail pace but it makes things a little better to know before you go.

Major construction kicks off tomorrow, February 21, 2018 on Main street between 8th street and Capitol Blvd for a small water main leak issue that will be under construction.  The Ada County Highway District says roads will be shut down to one lane which means lots of traffic and much longer waiting times getting to and from downtown Boise.

We're giving you this heads up as a courtesy so that you'll steer clear if at all possible.  The less traffic we have, the better and the quicker this water main leak can be repaired.  This is only a one day project so please make alternate plans for Wednesday, February 21 if possible.
