Treasure Valley Encouraged to “Do the Right”
Treasure Valley City leaders are starting a movement that encourages compassion.
In response to concerns over teen suicide and bullying, the City of Meridian along with partners from all over the Treasure Valley launched "Do The Right Day" last year.
It was a hit, and this year it's time to do it all over again.
The idea: to do something kind to the person on your right. A "chain of compassion," if you will.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!
If you want to get in on this awesome movement, start now! Look to your right and say/do something nice. I bet it will make you feel good :). To spread the message they encourage you to use #DoTheRight on social media.
Dutch Bros is helping spread the message by donating $1 from every sale to Project Kids, an organization that provides financial assistance to students in Ada County.
The Village at Meridian is getting in on it too, providing sidewalk chalk for you to write messages all over The Village walkways.
LETS SPREAD THE LOVE!
