Meet or Beat the Lien Amount (Know the Value of What You're Buying)

Each vehicle has a lien attached to it. Your bid has to at least cover the lien and any other posted fees. If it doesn’t, your bid won’t be considered. So, the smart move is to make sure you feel the cost of covering the lien is even worth the value of the vehcile. The highest bidder will be notified on the first working day after November 12. And if you haven’t figured this out yet, all vehicles are sold “as-is/where-is.” No warranties. You get what you get.

How to Submit a Sealed Bid to Twin Falls PD

This is a sealed-bid auction. Put your bid in an envelope labeled “Sealed Bid,” include the vehicle number that coincides with the post, and deliver or mail it to: Twin Falls Police Department, 321 2nd Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301, Attention: Sealed Bid. The deadline to submit bids is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

What Happens After You Win a Bid in Twin Falls

You’ll receive auction/lien paperwork from the towing company to start the title process. Make sure to bring your ID. For plates and registration, check with the county DMV. Twin Falls County doesn’t require emissions, but you still need insurance and registration before driving it.
