Two Idaho Police Officers Shot

Early this morning two Idaho police officers were shot responding to a local residence.

It happened about 3 a.m. in Sandpoint. Two officers shot. Luckily, as far as we know both have survived and are currently recovering.

According to q13fox.com the suspect in the officer shootings is dead.

So far the details are sketchy. We don't know the officers names and the only detail we have as far as injuries suffered is that one officer has already been released from the hospital.

We don't know what the officers were originally responding to the home for but during the early morning visit the suspect stepped out of the home and opened fire on both officers.

We all know that these brave men and women who serve our communities put their lives on the line every single day and this is just a prime example of how dangerous their job is.
