Two Idaho Rodeos Are Nominated For PRCA National Awards
Last week the Caldwell Night Rodeo shared with it's followers on Facebook that they we're named a top 5 Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). "We are excited to announce being named a top 5 Large Outdoor Pro Rodeo this year! Thank you to the cardholders who voted. We hope you’re enjoying the changes we’ve made to make CNR a better rodeo to compete at. We couldn’t do ANY of what we do without our amazing sponsors and dedicated fans. YOU are what makes CNR truly special."
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is the "recognized leader in professional rodeo, the PRCA is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the industry in every area, from improving working conditions for contestants and monitoring livestock welfare to boosting entertainment value and promoting sponsors."
The Caldwell Night Rodeo wasn't the only rodeo nominated this year, the Blackfoot Ranch Rodeo was also nominated for Small Rodeo of the Year.
According to the press release the final online ballot process is now open "Each year, the PRCA expresses its gratitude for rodeo personnel at the annual PRCA Awards Banquet before the start of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
The final online ballot process will be open Oct. 17-21 for applicable voting PRCA members.
The winners for each category will be announced at the PRCA Awards Banquet at the South Point in Las Vegas at 6 p.m. (PT), Nov. 30."
The Wrangler NFR, will make it's way back to the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas December 1-10, 2022.
