With Christmas almost here, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what’s important to me as a dad, granddad and husband. I’ve realized that as I get older, what’s important to me isn’t the fancy gifts or the fun vacations, but rather it’s the small things – and the quality time that I spend with my loved ones.

One post that really spoke to me was a thread that has been going viral on social media, discussing what’s important to us – especially during the holidays. If you’re looking for a quick, yet moving insight on what really matters during the holidays – I highly recommend checking it out HERE.

While we may get overwhelmed with all of the Black Friday sales and must-haves, it’s refreshing to have everything put into perspective. I’m constantly reminded with how lucky I am to have the family that I do and that’s what matters most to me this holiday season.

I wish you all a wonderful, and prosperous new year, but most of all – I hope you can make the most of the small things.
