Can you believe we're already a week into July? This is one of the most popular months, if not the most popular month for traveling in America, and we're wondering... do you actually have travel plans this month?

You'd think a lot of Idahoans would be traveling right now, or at least making plans to, especially considering the amount of vehicles that are always on the roads. But in our recent polls and conversations, it's looking like less people in Idaho are traveling than we think...

We asked our Facebook audience to tell us where they're traveling this month, and the responses we got were not only surprising... but kind of hilarious! Keep scrolling for a list of our favorite comments.

From that list of comments, it's evident that most people are not planning on traveling. Why? There are a variety of reasons, but mainly financial stresses. And that makes sense... have you seen the price changes in pretty much everything lately? It sure seems like everything is increasing except our pay, so traveling often takes a place on the back burner.

That said, traveling doesn't always have to be so complex or expensive — it's just nice to change things up and recharge a little bit. For example, getting outside and visiting places like Idaho's national parks — it doesn't have to be a trip to Hawaii or a week-long road trip.

Here's your reminder to still find ways to make summer feel like summer, and to create lasting memories with your friends and family. We absolutely loved that y'all had a sense of humor, and the comments you made were really relatable and funny! Keep scrolling for the list below 👇
