The Treasure Valley is excited as the beloved fast food chain In-N-Out Burger prepares to open its doors at The Village in Meridian, which broke ground in March 2023. According to Michelle Hart, they've also filed for permits for a second location where the old Pier 1 is. Rumors are also swirling about a third location in Nampa. 

The news of the iconic double-double with crispy fries coming to town has ignited a wave of excitement on social media with a buzz of speculation about a ground opening date. 

With the amount of Californians that have moved to the Treasure Valley, In-N-Out isn't just a fast food chain; it's a cultural icon, and for many Californians, it's a taste of home and nostalgia. There's no doubt that there will be some very long wait times when In-N-Out opens. When In-N-Out opened in Colorado Springs, wait times were almost 14 hours. 

Could Californians expedite the process? 

They know the menu like the back of their hand, the secret menu (which you can see below), and have been waiting for this location to open since it was announced, even though Californians aren't the only ones excited. Some Idahoans are just as excited, but some have said, "I'll go once the hype dies down."
