Every year people driving in their cars in Eagle have a significant delay because of the 2,000 sheep crossing Highway 55.  What the heck are they doing?

The "Sheep Jam" occurred this morning next to Beacon Light Road and fortunately lasted for only about fifteen minutes.  It takes an entire team of herders and their dogs to manage the little guys and get them across Highway 55 as swiftly and safely as possible.

The goal is the foothills where the sheep can graze and they'll continue to move to higher ground to a rangeland near Bogus Basin.
