Wildfire Threatening Homes Near Givens Hot Springs

A civil emergency has been issued for resident south of Highway 78 between Givens Hot Springs and Sleepy Hollow Rd.

Owyhee County Sherrifs are warning residents south of Highway 78 between Givens Hot Springs and Sleepy Hollow Rd to prepare for evacuations due to a fire in the area.

The size of the wildfire in unknown, but about 25 to 50 homes are being threatened.
