Zoo Boise Adds New Animals

Zoo Daze is this Sunday, Zoo Boise's biggest event of the summer, and you'll be able to see some new additions!

Five new South American animals will call Boise their new home on Sunday. The additions: the capybara (world's largest rodent), an Inca-Tern, nine-banded armadillo, a blue-grey tanager, and a red-capped cardinal.

While you're at Zoo Daze, you get in to a drawing to name of of the capybaras!!

Zoo Daze is Sunday, June 14th - 10a-5p at Zoo Boise. $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 kids (3-11).

If you win the drawing, can you promise to give the capybara a super cute name, to make it less rodent-y :)
