Sometimes having to dig deep and do some serious research is where you find what people don't want to share. For example, all the locals know the 15 unspoken rules about Idaho. After months of research, digging through the internet, and talking to the locals, I'm excited to share with you that we now know the 15 unspoken rules about Idaho that all the locals know.

It wasn't that hard at all Ranker had a list of the "15 Unspoken Rules About Idaho That All The Local Know." The problem is that the list could be better. So if you're a local looking at this list, you will be as disappointed. 

You need to know that all of these suggestions come from Reddit and are then voted on. As someone who has only lived in Idaho since September 2022, there's nothing on the list that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. However, the list does have some great recommendations for those visiting Idaho.

14. Take Two Days To Cruise Pend Oreille

"I spent a few years in the Mid-Atlantic, so this abundant public land out here is the biggest difference. That and the lack of tens of millions of people within a 2 or 3 or 4-hour drive.

For the non-outdoorsy, sightseeing by car or boat is what most visitors partake in. Much is written about Lake Coeur d'Alene, but I prefer Lake Pend Oreille up by Sandpoint. Pend Oreille is huge and beautiful, and that's no exaggeration. You could easily spend a whole day or even two cruising its entire length. You can hire a pretty nice charter boat for fishing or sightseeing on both lakes. You can hire a floatplane pilot for sightseeing by air if you're brave enough to fly in small planes."
