A 32-year-old Mountain Home man, his passenger, and four kids in the back were rear-ended on I-84 near the Maple Grove overpass in Boise, Idaho yesterday just after 3 o'clock.  The impact sent their vehicle out of control across two lanes of traffic crashing into a barrier.

All the occupants were wearing seatbelts and all occupants were immediately transported to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center.  We have no idea as to what kind of condition any of these people are in.  We'll keep you updated as new information is released.

According to KTVB, it appears that the accident started with a 23-year-old Boise driver who failed to slow down and rammed the other vehicle from behind.  There's no word on the 23-year-old being injured.

Idaho State Police was on the scene immediately and have launched a full investigation.  Right now the important thing is getting these six people out of the hospital and back home safe and sound.
